Online Psychotherapy Sessions via Skype
Online psychotherapy is growing in popularity for a number of reasons. Convenience and ease of organizing online therapy sessions is one reason. Another reason is that more and more people are becoming interested in self-help rather than going to a psychotherapist for treatment or medications. Learning how to manage your emotions by yourself is far better than just managing symptoms. I offer online psychotherapy sessions through Skype for anxiety, depression, OCD, panic attacks, insomnia, addictions and many other forms of emotional suffering that can and do benefit from learning new strategies for managing emotional reactivity. I specialize in Mindfulness Therapy, which is particularly effective for this purpose.

ONLINE THERAPY SESSIONS OVER SKYPE
Welcome! My name is Peter Strong and I am a professional psychotherapist based in Boulder, Colorado, and I offer online therapy sessions via Skype for the treatment of anxiety and depression.
Skype Therapy Sessions
The style of therapy over Skype that I provide is called Mindfulness Therapy, which is extremely effective for working with all forms of anxiety disorders. During the online therapy sessions that I offer, I will teach you how to work with your anxiety or other emotional problems in a way that allows you to change the underlying core emotions that create the the emotional suffering for you.
Now, all anxiety reactions depend on a habit formation, that is where you become unaware of the process that produces the anxiety. The mindfulness approach that I teach in these online therapy sessions teaches you how to become aware of this habit and how to change this habit so that even if anxiety arises, you find that you do not get pulled in to becoming the anxiety, to becoming identified with that emotion. And, you change your relationship to the emotion so that you can hold the emotion within your awareness without becoming reactive, without feeding the problem. This is called developing independence from the emotion, and all successful therapy depends on doing this.
So, if you would like to learn more about how to change your relationship with your anxiety or panic attacks, or any other emotions, in a way that allows you to break free of the reactivity and allows you to create a relationship that allows the emotion to change and heal, please contact me. Email me and schedule an online therapy session over Skype with me. Thank you!

Online Therapy Sessions for Anxiety & Depression
Online Psychotherapy Sessions for Anxiety & Depression
Welcome! My name is Peter Strong and I am a professional mindfulness-based psychotherapist. I offer Mindfulness Therapy over Skype.
These online psychotherapy sessions that I offer are particularly suitable for working with anxiety or depression. The mindfulness therapy approach is extremely effective for anxiety and for working with depression as well.
During the online therapy sessions we will focus on helping you learn more effective ways of consciously relating to your emotion without becoming overwhelmed by them. You need to establish a conscious relationship with your emotions and break that habit of becoming identified with your emotions. We need to learn how to sit with our emotions, essentially.
This is extremely important and the more you do this, the more you are able to sit with your emotions without becoming reactive, without becoming consumed by the emotion, the more that emotion will change. It will change by itself if you maintain consciousness with it. This is what I will teach you during our online therapy sessions together.
Online therapist sessions
I will teach you how to sit with your emotions, remaining conscious, breaking the habit of reactivity, and then facilitating the healing, the natural healing, the natural transformation of those emotions.
From my experience with working with many hundreds of clients now, over the years, this simple process of learning to sit with your emotions consciously is the most important thing you can do.
The emotion will change itself, like I say, and you will also discover ways of helping that emotion change itself. Sometimes our emotions are really in a state of fear themselves. They are isolated, they are abandoned, they are rejected, we don’t like them, we resist them, we avoid them at all costs, and this leads to what is called EMOTIONAL DISSOCIATION. The emotion is essentially dissociated from the Psyche itself. It becomes suppressed and isolated and in that state it does not have the consciousness that is needed for it to change itself. It cannot heal under those conditions of reactive aversion, which is what we call it.
It’s actually only when you bring consciousness and even a quality of friendship to that emotion that the emotion will begin to change itself. It thrives on our reconnecting with it, essentially, bringing it in from the cold. This is essentially what we are doing; bringing it into consciousness. When you do that you are re-connecting in a way that is healthy instead of re-connecting in a way that is unhealthy. Unhealthy means that we become lost in the already established patterns of conditioned reactivity such as worrying, rumination and imaginary thinking.
What we are doing in Mindfulness Therapy is actually sitting with the emotion directly, experiencing it exactly as it is and this is what allows it to change and heal.
It’s a very direct and very focused strategy, and during the online therapy sessions I will teach you how to do this very effectively and then you will be able to practice this between sessions at home as well. When emotions arise you will know how to sit with them, how to essentially meditate on your emotions. Because that’s what we are teaching you; we are teaching you how to meditate on your emotions instead of just becoming overwhelmed by them.

Online Therapist Sessions
Welcome! My name is Peter Strong and I am a professional online therapist. I provide online therapist sessions to help you work with anxiety, depression, addictions or any other emotional issues you may be struggling with.
During these online therapy sessions I teach you mindfulness-based approaches for working with emotions. What does that mean? Well, that means that we learn how to overcome our habitual patterns of reactivity: emotional reactivity or cognitive reactivity. We learn how to break free from these automatic patterns that simply feeds our anxiety or depression.
This is very important, indeed. Until you start to become conscious of these habits, they will never change, they will continue to operate out of consciousness like any other habit. It’s only when you start to really illuminate your emotional habits with conscious awareness that they begin to change. Then you can begin to re-establish independence from those habits and you can re-establish a sense of choice in relationship to those habits.
So, developing consciousness is the most important thing in Mindfulness Therapy. It is not about talking about your emotions; that is not going to change that underlying habit. What changes it is when you can develop real conscious awareness, conscious presence, with that emotion. When you can be with it without reacting, then change becomes possible. In fact change becomes inevitable and the emotion will begin to change itself, or you will be able to help it change itself in that condition of consciousness.
Mindfulness, basically, is simply a form of direct engaged consciousness. That’s how I define it in my book, ‘The Path of Mindfulness Meditation.’ It is learning to be right there with your emotion, but without thinking about it, without reacting in any way, without judging the emotion; without criticizing yourself, without getting lost in patterns of reactive thinking.
Any form of reactivity simply has the effect of reinforcing the emotion. Breaking free from those patterns of reactivity will stop feeding that emotion, and if you stop feeding the emotion then the emotion has to change. You create the right conditions in which it will begin to transform itself.
So, learning to be conscious, learning to be the observer that sees the observed, in this case, the object that you see is the emotion, the emotional object, the mind object. This is what we focus on changing through conscious awareness, through mindfulness.
You train yourself to become that Observer instead of becoming the reactive entity of the ego, or Little Self, as we sometimes call it, and other forms of emotional suffering. They are all, primarily, emotional habits, and habits thrive on the absence of consciousness. They operate out of consciousness. When you bring them into consciousness they lose their power entirely.
So, our thinking habits, our belief habits, and our limitations. Limitations are simply conceptual habits that we place on our self. They are not real, they do not exist; they are created by the mind. But they are very real in their effects when they operate out of consciousness. We become prisoners of our thoughts, our emotions, our beliefs, our concepts.
So, mindfulness is all about the process of liberation, of becoming free from our prison and this process of freedom is catalyzed by awakening, awakening consciousness. Learning to be with our emotions, our thoughts, our memories, our pain, our traumas, our anger, our hatred. Whatever it might be, learning to be with those mental objects consciously means that we become free from those mental objects. They cannot hurt us as long as we remain conscious. They only control us when we become unconscious.
So, this is a little bit about Mindfulness Therapy, which is what I offer as an online therapist. If you would like to learn more about Mindfulness Therapy and the online therapy process, do please contact me through my website and we can schedule a trial therapy session for you.
All you need is Skype and PayPal for secure online payments and you are ready to start. So, please contact me with your questions and let’s schedule a Skype therapy session. Thank you!
Online Therapy Sessions – Skype Therapy
Let me answer your questions about online therapy, and when you feel ready, you can schedule a Skype therapy session with me.
Online Counseling Therapy sessions through Skype for overcoming chronic anxiety and excessive worrying and chronic depression, addictions, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, PTSD, Emotional Trauma and other varieties of psychological suffering not requiring medical treatment.
Standard counseling can be helpful, but often common talk therapy does not change the underlying psychological process that is the real cause of your emotional suffering.
The same can be said for medications – the medication may reduce symptoms for a while, but medications can not change the underlying psychological process that causes the emotional pain.
The kind of psychotherapy that I provide is known as Mindfulness Therapy, which is quite effective for managing chronic anxiety and for treating chronic depression and other emotional issues caused by habitual negative thinking. Most of my clients see quite dramatic improvements after 3-4 sessions of Mindfulness Therapy.
Online Psychotherapy Sessions via Skype
Welcome! My name is Peter Strong and I am a professional online therapist specializing in Mindfulness Therapy. If you would like to talk to a therapist online through Skype, do please go to my website and email me to set up a Skype therapy session.
Online therapy sessions are very effective and a very good alternative to the more conventional style of psychotherapy that you will find in most therapy offices. It is really focuses much more on teaching you methods that you can use yourself to overcome your own anxiety or depression or other form of emotional suffering.
The mindfulness techniques that I teach are very effective indeed for all forms of anxiety. So, if you are suffering from anxiety I recommend that you give this a try. Simply email me and tell me about yourself and how I can help you and then we can schedule a trial Skype Therapy session.
Generally, most of my clients start seeing quite dramatic improvements once they start employing the techniques that I teach, helping you work with your emotions directly by yourself.
Anxiety and depression essentially are psychological habits, and these habits can be changed, like any other habit, once you start focusing the consciousness of mindfulness on them. They will change quite quickly once you start developing a mindful relationship with your emotions and that is the key.
For most of us, we simply become reactive to our emotions. We don’t like our anxiety or depression, we try to push them away or avoid feeling them, and this, of course, simply makes them stronger.
In order for anxiety to change you have to develop a quality of conscious awareness that allows you to sit with your anxiety without becoming reactive. When you can do that, then you create the right internal psychological conditions that allow that anxiety to start to change. You can begin to interact with your own emotions with compassion and intelligence in way that helps them heal and transform.
So, if you would like to learn more about Skype therapy and mindfulness therapy, simply go to my website. Email me to schedule a Skype therapy session. Thank you.

Online Therapy Sessions – Psychotherapy without medications
My name is Peter Strong and I am a professional registered therapist based in Boulder, Colorado, USA. I offer online therapy sessions via Skype. With the advent of videoconferencing over the internet it’s now possible to talk to a therapist online and see him or her in real-time. It’s really just the same as if you were in the office together. I’ve been offering online counseling for several years now. As far as I’m concerned there is no real difference between online or in-person therapy, especially if you’re teaching some form of cognitive therapy or mindfulness therapy, as I teach, where the emphasis is on teaching skills for working with difficult emotions. This can be transmitted online through Skype just as well as it can face-to-face in the office.
Online Psychotherapy Sessions
Welcome! My name is Peter Strong and I provide psychotherapy sessions online for the treatment of anxiety and depression and addictions and many other common psychological and emotional problems that you may be experiencing.
So these online therapy sessions that I offer use Skype, which means that we can see each other as well as talk to each other in real time. And that’s really important to make sure that the communication is optimal. If you can see each other as well as speak to each other using Skype, there is really no different at all from meeting with a psychotherapist in person in an office. And I have found over the years that my clients tend to prefer the convenience of online therapy sessions. They like the fact that they can stay at home in a much more comfortable setting than going to a therapist’s office. And that’s important because psychotherapy is a very subtle process and you need to feel comfortable. You need to feel like you are in control and that you feel safe and really there’s no better place than in your own home.
So if you’re interested in online psychotherapy sessions and would like to overcome anxiety and depression without medications, without using the medical approach of prescription medications then this may be the ideal option you to look at. Do please send me an e-mail and ask any questions you have about online therapy sessions with me. I’m very happy to answer your questions ahead of time. And when you are ready you can schedule therapy over Skype with me. It’s very easy to get started. All you need is an internet connection and a laptop or even a mobile phone and you can have a Skype therapy session.
I work primarily with anxiety and depression during the online therapy sessions and generally you can expect to see significant changes within the first three to four sessions. That’s because I use a very practical and very focused approach quite different than conventional talk therapy or counseling. The approach that I use is called Mindfulness Therapy and you can certainly learn more about mindfulness therapy by visiting my website. But I’d be happy to explain to you how this works. Basically it teaches you how to break that habit of becoming overwhelmed by reactive thinking and rumination and reactive emotions. All of these processes are essentially habitual in nature and anxiety is created by habitual reactions and these can be changed through mindfulness therapy.
So if you’d like to learn more please go to my website and let’s schedule a trial Skype-based online therapy session and see for yourself just how effective online therapy is for those common emotional problems like anxiety, depression and also for working with addiction. So I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.
Distance Therapy for Anxiety and Depression – Online Therapy Sessions
Distance Therapy for Anxiety and Depression – Online Therapy Sessions
Welcome! My name is Peter Strong, and I am a professional online therapist. I specialize in Distance Therapy via Skype. Distance Therapy, also known as Internet Therapy, e-therapy, or simply Online Therapy is a very good choice if you are living abroad or if you are in a rural area.
In fact, many of my clients live in rural American States where it’s difficult to find a local therapist to work with, or where they prefer something more private, to maintain anonymity, and so an online therapist is a good choice for getting the kind of help that you would like to manage your emotional problems, whatever they may be, but from the privacy of your own home.
There are lots of other advantages to Distance Therapy or Distance Counseling. Of course, it doesn’t involve ant commuting so it’s much easier to fit into a busy work schedule. Or if you are a stay-at-home mum, or if you have difficulty leaving your home, for whatever reason, then online therapy is certainly a very good option to consider.
So, online therapy, or Distance Therapy is a very good way of working with, what we might call, non-clinical anxiety and non-clinical depression. If you have serious problems then, of course, you must consult your doctor, but for most people, what we are really looking for, is practical solutions, ways of managing your anxiety or depression or addiction yourself.
There are definitely very good strategies that you can learn during these online therapy sessions that I offer. I specialize in Mindfulness Therapy, which is a particularly effective form of Cognitive Therapy, or CBT, that works extremely well for anxiety and depression, particularly. This style of therapy is something that I developed back in the 1980’s as a way of working with anxiety in a very direct way – working on changing the underlying process of reactive thinking that creates our anxiety and depression.
So, if you would like to learn more about Distance Therapy, or Online Therapy in general, please visit my website, Counseling TherapyOnline.com, and email me, and then we can talk further and schedule a therapy session via Skype. So, please go to my website and contact me. Thank you!

Online Therapy Sessions over Skype
Welcome. My name is Peter Strong and I am a professional online therapist. I offer therapy over Skype for working with difficult emotions, whether that be anxiety, depression, addictions, or traumatic memories. I often work with people suffering from PTSD,
I use this technique called Mindfulness Therapy, which is a very good way of working with difficult emotions. It is really quite different than conventional talk therapy because it helps you change the underlying structure of the process itself that creates your emotional suffering, whether that is anxiety or depression or fear or compulsion.
Because it is such a direct approach, unlike talk therapy or counseling, you can expect to see quite significant changes in your emotions after, usually, 3 or 4 sessions of Mindfulness Therapy. We are working on the actual mechanism that creates that anxiety or depression or trauma, and that’s why Mindfulness Therapy is so successful.
It’s not just about trying to fix things, it’s about actually growing and developing your full capacity. So, that’s another extremely important part of online Mindfulness Therapy.
If you are interested in learning more about online therapy sessions do please go to my website and read more of the pages and watch more of the videos there to get a sense of this process. When you feel ready CONTACT ME. SEND ME AN EMAIL and then we can schedule an online therapy session.

Even the first session will produce some significant changes for you. So please go to my website and email me and let’s schedule an online therapy session.
The first session is a trial session, which means there is no upfront payment and if you feel that it is not right for you then there is no payment due. You only pay for that session if you like the work, that you experience improvements within that first session and that you want to continue sessions with me. Then you would pay for that trial session.

Online Therapy Sessions – Talk to a therapist online via Skype
Online mindfulness therapy is extremely effective for all forms of anxiety and depression not requiring medical treatment, which is the case for most people. The mindfulness approach is very practical and will teach you how to overcome the habitual cognitive reactivity that feeds anxiety and depression. Most people will see big improvements after the first few sessions.
Welcome. My name is Peter Strong and I provide online therapy sessions through Skype. If you would like to talk to a therapist online for help with anxiety or for working with depression or an addiction or any other chronic psychological and emotional problems that you may be experiencing, then do please go to my website and learn more about online therapy and how it can help you, and then send me an e-mail, ask your questions, and we can schedule a Skype therapy session at a time that works for you.
I work with people throughout North America and Canada and Europe and the U.K., and as far away as Japan. The online format is really effective for working with anxiety and depression, particularly, where I will teach you how to essentially change those emotional habits that create anxiety or depression. We have to overcome those patterns of reactive habitual thinking that feeds our emotional suffering and this is a very, very common problem that responds extremely well to the online mindfulness therapy that I teach.
Mindfulness is a way of training in awareness, it is a way of training to be more conscious and more present with your thoughts and emotions. The biggest problem that prevents healing of anxiety or depression is that we become reactive. We are not present with our emotions. We react to them with aversion or avoidance or some distraction or other form of reactivity. The reactivity takes your conscious awareness away from the anxiety that’s trying to heal. Without consciousness, anxiety or depression will not heal. So the whole purpose of mindfulness therapy is really to bring that conscious awareness back to your emotions to allow them to heal themselves.
In most cases that healing will occur quite naturally once you stop the habit of reacting to your anxiety or depression. If you would like to learn more about the mindful approach, do please contact me how we can schedule an online therapy session at that time that works for you. Most people who choose this approach can expect to see significant improvements and a significant reduction in their anxiety or depression within usually the first two or three weeks. The sessions are very focused and very practical. They give you methods that you can practice at home between sessions to continue this process of developing conscious and mindful relationship with your thoughts and with your emotions to promote their healing. So if you’d like to learn more please go to my website and e-mail me. Thank you.
Online Therapy Sessions – Online Psychotherapy for Anxiety
Online Psychotherapy Sessions for Anxiety
Welcome. My name is Peter Strong and I provide online therapy sessions for overcoming anxiety and to help with depression as well. So online therapy is extremely effective as long as you use Skype or some other video conferencing technology so that you can see each other as well as hear each other. I believe this greatly increases the efficiency of communication and makes the therapy sessions much more successful if you can see each other as well as speak to each other in real time, and really online therapy sessions are no different than therapy sessions in a therapist’s office.
What’s important during all therapy sessions is that you learn how to work with your mind how to work with your emotions and with recurring thought patterns and anything else that goes on in the mind that affects the quality of your life. You need to be able to change your relationship to thoughts emotions and memories as well. This is very much the focus of mindfulness therapy which is a very successful form of psychotherapy which does just this. It teaches you how to break free from that cycle of becoming overwhelmed by your emotions and thoughts. You learn how to become the observer. This is very important indeed because when you can free yourself from that habit of becoming identified with your emotions and thoughts then you can begin that process of change and transformation. If you continue the habits of becoming overwhelmed then you simply feed those underlying emotional habits that create anxiety or depression. So learning to be the observer is what I will teach you during these Skype-based online therapy sessions, and is very effective indeed. Most of my clients see results very quickly when they start to approach their emotions in this way. It’s definitely much more effective than just talking about your emotions or even just trying to understand your emotions. This does not really change those habits that create the emotions and this is the focus of mindfulness therapy that I teach online.
So if you’d like to learn more about the mindfulness therapy approach and online psychotherapy sessions with me then please go to my website and learn more about online therapy, and when you feel ready simply email me and we can schedule an online therapy session at a time that works for you. I see people through out the USA and abroad as well. So, please go to my website. Learn more about us online therapy and then e-mail me. Thank you.
Online Therapy Sessions – Mindfulness Therapy for Anxiety
Online psychotherapy is becoming very well established as a way of making psychotherapy more widely available. I have been offering mindfulness-based online therapy sessions for many years and it is definitely recommended for treating anxiety and depression without the use of drugs or long treatment protocols.
If you would like to schedule online therapy sessions with me for help with your anxiety or depression, please go to my website and then email me to schedule an online therapy session via Skype.
Online Therapy Sessions for Managing Stress
Mindfulness therapy is one of the most effective approaches for managing emotional stress, anxiety and depression.
Welcome. My name is Peter Strong and I’m a professional mindfulness-based therapist. I offer online therapy sessions for managing emotional stress and online therapy sessions for managing anxiety and depression and many other common emotional and psychological problems that affects the quality of our life.
The main feature of mindfulness therapy is to teach you how to break free from those cycles of reactive thinking that fuel emotional stress, anxiety and depression. We do this by actually learning to develop mindful awareness of our thoughts, to take them off autopilot and bring them into that space of conscious awareness where we have more choice. This is vital. If we are not actively developing conscious awareness of our stress thoughts or anxiety thoughts, then they simply become habitual and they feed on themselves and proliferate, increasing the emotional stress or anxiety. But once you start developing a conscious mindful relationship with your thoughts then that breaks the cycle and the stress begins to resolve itself and the anxiety begins to reduce considerably.
The power of conscious awareness cannot be overemphasized. It is extremely effective for resolving emotional problems such as stress, anxiety and depression. If you’d like to learn more about online therapy sessions using the mindfulness therapy approach for managing stress, do please go to my website and then email me to schedule a Skype therapy session. Thank you.
Online Therapy Sessions USA – Talk to a Therapist via Skype
Welcome. My name is Peter Strong. I am a professional psychotherapist specializing in mindfulness therapy for the treatment of anxiety and depression. If you are looking for online therapy sessions in the USA then please go to my website and learn more about the online therapy service that I offer throughout North America and also worldwide.
The style of online therapy sessions that I offer is really designed to teach you very practical mindfulness based methods for overcoming those patterns of habitual reactive thinking that trap us in the habitual emotional reactivity of anxiety and depression and other common emotional psychological problems that we may experience.
So the real root cause of anxiety and depression is this process by which we become identified with the reactive thoughts and the reactive emotions that get triggered in the mind. We become captivated by these emotional habits, and it’s rather like falling in a river. We get swept away by reactive thinking and further emotional reactivity.
Mindfulness training teaches us how to maintain our balance, how to sit on the bank of the river instead of falling in. This is a very important concept because no matter how strong the river is, if you are secure on the bank then that river cannot hurt you. And it’s exactly the same with our emotions and with reactive thoughts. If you can maintain the position of being the OBSERVER of your emotions and thoughts then they have no power at all to cause you emotional suffering. You can learn to observe them, to sit with your mind without becoming lost in your mind, without becoming lost in habitual patterns of reactive thinking and habitual emotional reactivity. This is a very important skill that we teach in great detail during the mindfulness online therapy sessions that I offer over Skype.
If you’d like to learn more about the mindfulness approach for breaking free from anxiety and depression then please go to my website, learn more about the process, and then send me an email and we can schedule an online therapy session at a time that works for you. Most of my clients live within North America but I also see lots of people in Western Europe and further afield. All you need is a good internet connection and PayPal to make your online payments for therapy sessions and you’re ready to begin. So please email me if you have any questions or if you are ready to schedule Skype therapy session. Thank you.
