Online Mindfulness-based Counseling for Anxiety Disorders
Online counseling for anxiety disorders provides a convenient and extremely effective way of managing and recovering from anxiety using the well-tested principles of Mindfulness Therapy, a system of psychotherapy that I developed many years ago and that has proven very effective for treating all kinds of anxiety disorders, including panic attacks, social anxiety disorder and agoraphobia and OCD.
Anxiety Counseling Online over Skype
I teach Mindfulness Therapy via Skype – one of the most effective treatments for anxiety available. The focus of Mindfulness Therapy is to transform the underlying process that creates your anxiety rather than just treating symptoms through medications or conventional counseling.
So, if you would like to learn more about online therapy for anxiety and you would like to schedule a Skype therapy session with me, please email me and then we can find a time that works for you.
All you need to start this process of online Skype therapy is an internet connection, you need Skype, of course, which you can download for free, and you need PayPal to make your payments after each session. PayPal allows you to make secure online payments.
The first session, the trial session, there is no upfront payment. Payment is based entirely on your satisfaction with your online therapy session.
So, please email me and let’s get started. Most people really enjoy the Mindfulness Therapy approach and find that it really helps them tremendously, much better than conventional talk therapy, and certainly better than medications, which do nothing to change that underlying process that causes the anxiety. You can expect to see significant changes after 3-4 sessions. You will begin to learn methods that you can practice at home to help you overcome your anxiety. So, it’s not just what we do in the sessions, but it’s what you do at home as well to build this new process that leads to the resolution of your habitual anxiety.
So, please email me and let’s schedule a trial therapy session. Thank you.

Standard counseling can be beneficial, but often it does not change the habitual psychological process that is the real cause of your emotional suffering.
The same can be said for medications – the antidepressant may relieve symptoms for a while, but medications can not heal the underlying psychological process that produces the emotional pain.
The type of psychotherapy that I offer is known as Mindfulness Therapy, which can be very successful for eliminating chronic anxiety as well as for treating chronic depression or other emotional issues caused by conditioned reactive thinking. Most of my clients experience quite substantial changes after the first couple of sessions of Mindfulness Therapy.
Welcome. My name is Peter Strong, and I specialize in Mindfulness Therapy and I offer online counselling for anxiety.
Anxiety is a very common problem for many, many people, and it responds very well to Mindfulness Therapy.
The most common problem that we encounter with anxiety disorders is, what we call, the problem of Reactive Identification. This is where we simply become completely identified and overwhelmed by the emotions that get triggered in the mind. This process is an emotional habit and anxiety is essentially a psychological habit. It is created by a conditioned reaction to situations, whether that is external events, whether that is internal events like thoughts or other emotions, or physical sensations. These become triggers that trigger the emotion to arise, and that’s a conditioned reaction.
But the problem is that we simply identify with the emotion, the anxiety itself that gets triggered. We become the anxiety, we become the emotion, we become swallowed up by the emotion, overwhelmed by it.
The first stage of Mindfulness training, if you like, is to change this habit, is to break free form this problem of reactive identification, so that if anxiety gets triggered in the mind, we don’t get overwhelmed by it, we don’t identify with it. Instead we learn to develop a conscious relationship with it. If we can stay conscious and mindful then the anxiety won’t have any power to cause suffering. It is just an object that arises in the mind and we can relate to that object skilfully and in a non-reactive way and not become overwhelmed by it.
When we can establish the right relationship with our emotions in this way through mindfulness then we stop feeding the anxiety, and that’s the first most important part of mindfulness training. We stop feeding it. If you identify with your emotions you feed them, if you react to your emotions you feed them, they get stronger. But, if you don’t identify with your emotions and you don’t react to them, then you take away the fuel and then the natural process of resolution begins to take place and the anxiety subsides quite quickly.
In this way you are re-training the mind to resolve anxiety by itself whenever it gets triggered, and the time that it takes to resolve itself gets faster and faster each time you establish a mindful relationship with it. Over time the anxiety simply does not get triggered at all because it is instantly resolved.
When I work with people they see dramatic, real, tangible results and usually it only takes a few sessions as they start to apply mindfulness in the way that I teach it for working with their anxiety. So, please contact me. Thank you.

Traditional counseling can be beneficial, but often common talk therapy does not alter the underlying psychological process that is the real cause of your depression or anxiety.
This also applies to the use of medications – anti-anxiety and antidepressant medications may provide a temporary relief from symptoms for a while, but medications are not going to change the underlying process that produces your emotional pain.
The type of psychotherapy that I teach online is known as Mindfulness Therapy, which can be quite powerful for overcoming anxiety as well as for treating chronic depression or other emotional problems resulting from conditioned negative thinking. Most people see significant reduction in the level of anxiety and depression after the first couple of sessions of Mindfulness Therapy.
Online Mindfulness Therapy for Anxiety Disorders
Welcome. My name is Peter Strong and I provide online therapy for the treatment of anxiety and depression, OCD and many other common emotional psychological problems. As an online therapist for anxiety I specialize in teaching mindfulness skills for managing the anxiety and the reactive thinking that supports the anxiety.
Mindfulness therapy is extremely effective for helping you break free from those automatic habitual patterns of reactive thinking that fuel anxiety and panic attacks and other anxiety disorders. When we learn how to apply mindfulness we actually learn to sit with our emotions, we learn to meditate on our emotions. So, I will teach you exactly how to do this, how to sit with your anxiety, how to meditate on your anxiety, without becoming overwhelmed by it and without becoming reactive. This is the essential training that’s needed to change the habits of reactive anxiety.
The real problem is that we simply are not conscious of this habit of becoming caught up in reactive thinking we get lost in patterns of worrying, of rumination and excessive thinking, which simply feeds the anxiety. But with mindfulness training you learn how to become an observer. You learn how to sit with the emotions and with the thoughts without becoming lost in them, without becoming overwhelmed by them, without becoming essentially controlled by your emotions or your thoughts. This process it isn’t quite easy to learn if you get good guidance. You have to learn how to meditate on your emotions. Common mindfulness meditation practices usually involve meditating on the breath and this is a good relaxation exercise, but it will not really help you with your anxiety.
You have to meditate on the cause of your anxiety, which is your relationship to your emotions and your thoughts. If that relationship is unconscious then your emotions and thoughts will govern you, you will be controlled by them. They’ll be little choice.
But once you start to develop more consciousness around the anxiety and the thoughts then you begin to break free from them. You begin to neutralize the effects of emotions and thoughts on you.
